Ms. Grey appeared on ITV’s Lorraine earlier today (August 23) to perform her current single “Invisible“, and sit down for an exclusive interview. She covers the story of whether or not she almost had her vocals on “I Need A Doctor” replaced by Lady Gaga’s, growing up in a small town, and what happened to a bengal cat that she used to have as a pet.

Milo Decruz, the bassist for Ms. Grey‘s INVINSIBLE project, recently talked with Dave Smith Instruments about one of the synths that he uses, the DSI Mopho, and how he has incorporated it into his live setup for the upcoming Skylar Grey Tour. “….I’ve been using DSI’s Mopho in my bass set up for Skylar Grey’s upcoming Tour and I’m truly impressed with how solid, punchy and programmable it is.Skylar’s upcoming record is so harmonically deep in the synth arrangements, I was able to dial in sounds that represented the record and that’s so important to me.
The sequencer is great and some stock presets sequences have already made it into the live show. The Mopho is the best of Analog…Musical and limitless….as a analog based synth should be!….”

The Daily Mirror has reported that along with Rihanna, Ms. Grey will be joining Eminem on-stage as a special guest at this year’s Virgin Mobile V Festival!
