Skylar Grey DCXIV :: ‘Coming Home’ Live w/ Diddy at WrestleMania XXIX, 7-APR-2013 | Video

This past Sunday night (April 7), Ms. Grey performed live at the MetLife Stadium in New York for her second consecutive WrestleMania main-stage performance, this year with Diddy at WrestleMania XXIX for a stadium crowd of 85,000 wrestling fans.

Diddy opened the set with a medley of some of his past solo and featured hits (“Victory”/“Mo Money Mo Problems” (by The Notorious B.I.G.)/“It’s All About The Benjamins”),  with Ms. Grey then appearing on-stage for them to both perform “Coming Home”, which was the official theme song for the night!

Skylar Grey DCXII :: ChapStick Sessions Presents Myspace LIVE – Behind-the-Scenes Footage | Video

Today (April 4) Myspace has released some behind-the-scenes footage from Ms. Grey‘s February 11 live concert for ChapStick Sessions – the footage show Ms. Grey prepping backstage with Thavius Beck, right before starting her live set.

Skylar Grey DCX :: WrestleMania’s ‘Coming Home’ Music Video+Performing w/ Diddy at WrestleMania XXIX | Video

In conjunction with the Diddy-Dirty Money feat. Skylar Grey version of Coming Home being the official theme song for this year’s WrestleMania XXIX, the WWE has released a special “Coming Home” music video, created with photos provided by international wrestling fans, each holding a sign showing how far they traveled for the event.

Along with that, Ms. Grey will also be performing “Coming Home” along with Diddy at WrestleMania XXIX this coming Sunday, April 7! The match will be John Cena Vs. The Rock, and you can order the match via Pay-Per-View!

Skylar Grey DCIX :: Interview w/ Idolator’s Sam Lansky | Video

Idolator editor Sam Lansky recently interviewed Ms. Grey while she was in New York – they chatted about her journeying through different musical genres over the last few years, how Whitney Houston’s passing influenced her working with will.i.am, as well as the fact that she currently has several as-of-yet unrevealed features planned for her Don’t Look Down album (which will be released July 2013).

Skylar Grey DCII :: Rihanna’s ‘Love The Way You Lie, Part II’ in Tyler Perry’s ‘Temptation’ Trailer | Video

Rihanna‘s version of the Skylar Grey-penned Love The Way You Lie, Part II feat. Eminem has been used in the long-form trailer for Tyler Perry‘s upcoming 13th feature film Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.

The dramatic thriller will be in theatres this Friday (March 29) – check out the December 2012 version of the long-form trailer below!

Skylar Grey DXCVI :: Diddy Introducing Skylar Grey at Rags 2 Riches Live | Video

Before her live set at the premiere Rags 2 Riches Live event (which broke records with a 1 million+ live streaming audience, and was moved to a larger venue to accomodate the massive crowd demand), Ms. Grey was introduced by musician/entrepreneur Diddy (who hosted the event, and was joined onstage by French Montana). Diddy, who collaborated with Ms. Grey on the Number 1 single Coming Home, voiced praise for her work and shared his view on her importance to the music of this era.

Skylar Grey DXCV :: SXSW Interview w/ Music Connection Magazine+’Don’t Look Down’ Release Date – July, 2013 | Video

Music Connection Magazine stopped and talked with Ms. Grey at SXSW yesterday (March 17), and have now published their interview with her – Ms. Grey talks about what she as an artist looks to get out of an event like SXSW, how she has utilized social media to meet and collaborate with fellow artists (mentioning Mike Posner and Russell Crowe), and how artists can use networking to their advantage.

She also reveals that her upcoming album Don’t Look Down will be released this July!
